This new car showroom and service/repair workshop was designed in accordance with the latest Jaguar Land Rover corporate identity standards, as the flagship site for Harwoods Group.

The complex steel frame achieves clear spans in the order of 22m to accommodate the open-plan showroom, indoor vehicle drive-through, service workshop and SMART repair. Lateral stability of the frame is achieved by use of lattice columns where the large glazed openings prevent use of conventional braced bays.

3-dimenional steel trusses, wind-girders and lattice columns are concealed within the depth of the Stratascreen engineered façade system; reducing the requirement for secondary steel whilst also providing the robustness necessary to limit the glass façade deflections.
