Southlands Hospital
HOP were instructed to help provide the Structural and Civil Engineering design for the new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Southlands Hospital.
Phase 1 of the new centre is located within the existing hospital and a refurbished area will provide an X-Ray suite, comprising three new imaging rooms, a CT scanner and two MRI scanners, providing diagnostic imaging alongside consulting and treatment suites for outpatient services.
Phase 2 is also within an existing part of the Hospital and includes four new ultrasound rooms, two treatment and lung function testing rooms, a specialist gynaecological treatment area and reconfiguration of the X-Ray section.
